The Voice? Releases A First Promo Video

Last week we got to see photos from a press event for the new NBC competitive singing show The Voice and today we get to see the FIRST promo video for the show. Each of The Voice judges is featured in the clip along with a description of what we can expect from the show.

"What's exciting about 'The Voice' is that we have the best in the business looking for the next best and not willing to just go 'You suck', 'You're great, good luck out there kids'," host Carson Daly gushed as Levine smashed an electric guitar. "It's less about being judgmental and more about helping them out," said the Maroon 5 frontman.Based on a popular Dutch show, the judges won't find out about a contestant's face until they turn around because they like his or her voice.



"There is no good and bad," Aguilera said in the press conference. "This isn't about tearing people down. I want to bring these people up.The Voice really does stand for what it says. Instinctually, you can judge people based on the way they look."

The winner, who will be dubbed "The Voice", will receive a recording contract from Sony Music and $100,000. Show begins April 26 on NBC.

Ray Allen Bloodied After Elbow To Head During Celtics-Knicks Game : Full Video

Boston's Ray Allen needed seven stitches after the Celtics rallied in the second half to beat the New York Knicks 96-86 on Monday night.

In the third quarter, the Celtics shooter battled New York’s Jared Jeffries for a rebound under Boston’s basket. Jeffries appeared to inadvertently elbow Allen in the head, leaving him bloodied on the floor.

Allen had a cut above his right eye and was and escorted to the locker room. He returned to the game after a few minutes with a bandage over his eye.

The Knicks scored the first seven of the second, capped by consecutive baskets by Turiaf, to open a double-digit cushion. It grew to 45-30 on Billups' 3-pointer with 3:41 remaining in the half, and the Knicks took a 51-37 advantage to the locker room.

Notes: The teams meet again in Boston on April 13 in the regular-season finale. ... Shaquille O'Neal worked out on a stationary bike before the game, though it's still unknown when he will return from a sore right leg that's sidelined him since Feb. 1. ... The Knicks started Turiaf at center, the third straight game they had a different starter at that position.

Tucker Carlson made a shocking claim in tuesday night Fox News on Michel Vick that he should be executed.
This was not enough and the topic got hotter and hotter,and the flames were like “Michael Vick killed dogs and he did in a heartless and cruel way. And I think personally he should have been executed for that and he wasn't.”

Carlson led a panel discussion pegged to President Obama's recent phone call with the Eagles owner, in which he applauded the Eagles for giving Vick a second chance following his time in jail over his dogfighting scandal.
