Sushmita Sen, expect all rules to be broken, all norms to be bended.
Sushmita Sen became a gorgeous bride for Vikram Phadnis as she wore a beautiful ghagra- choli and lovely diamond studded high voltage jewellery. Sush was Vikrams showstopper. The actress looked stunning from top to bottom as she bid adaab to the audiences and flashed that typical gracious smile of hers.
What took us by surprise was the fact that Sush didnt mind wearing sindoor on her forehead which Hindu brides wear only after married.
I will get married soon. It will happen when it has to happen, said Sushmita when asked about her impending marriage.
As far as the sindoor is concerned, Susmita said I was a bride on the show and sindoor is beautiful. When Vikram asked me to be a showstopper I remembered my ramp days and its always good to come back to modeling. I practiced too to get things right.
Cheering Sushmita were Gul Panag, Sameera Reddy, Malaika Arora Khan, Amrita Arora, Shreyas Talpade, Ashish Chowdhury, Riya Sen, Shiamak Davar, Celina Jaitley, Hazel, Mugdha Godse, Arjun Kapoor, Diya Mirza, Vicky Bhagnani, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Sangita Bijlani and Tara Sharma.
Dressed in a Black and White gown, the sizzling beauty Deepika Padukone dazzled on the ramp for her favorite designers Gauri and Nainika. She surprised everyone by her showstopper act. The theme of Gauri-Nainikas show was very romantic and the gorgeous Deepika stole the show. Though the show saw no big participation from Bollywood celebs, the absence of beau Ranbir Kapoor was highly missed.
It can be recalled that Ranbir had expressed his love for Deepika by blowing a kiss while walking the ramp for designer Arjun Khanna at Lakme Fashion Week 2009. What then kept him away from cheering up for Deepika at Gauri-Nainikas show this year remained a mystery.
Talking about her show Deepika said, It was a classic show. The theme was romantic, classic and elegant. I love their designs and thats why I walked for them. I am a very romantic person and this collection represents love, romance and also made me nostalgic. Needless to say Deeps missed Ranbir badly.
